The 2000 series aluminum alloy (Al-Cu series alloy) is an aluminum alloy with copper as the main alloy element (the copper content is between 3-5%). It includes Al-Cu-Mg alloy, Al-Cu-Mg-Fe-Ni alloy and Al-Cu-Mn alloy, all of which are heat-treatable strengthened aluminum alloys. The alloy is characterized by high strength, commonly known as hard aluminum alloy (aircraft alloy), which has good heat resistance and processing properties, but its corrosion resistance is not as good as that of most other aluminum alloys, and intergranular corrosion can occur under certain conditions. Scope of application: aviation industry (2014 aluminum alloy), screws (2011 aluminum alloy) and industries with higher operating temperature (2017 aluminum alloy, 2017 aluminum alloy is a little lower in strength than 2014 aluminum alloy, but easier to process).
